Tannis McLaren – Naturopathic Doctor, Health Coach, Clinic Owner
“I am a Naturopathic Doctor and Health Coach and I work with women just like you – busy, working women, moms, entrepreneurs, business owners, etc. who are really good at what they do, yet struggle with weight, stress and body image”
Tannis has had a life long interest in health and fitness which led her to study Kinesiology at the University of Regina. After numerous health challenges she sought the help of a naturopathic doctor and it was at this time that she believed she had found her true calling. She moved to Toronto and furthered her education with a four-year Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM). She continues to expand her knowledge and has obtained numerous certificates by attending ongoing conferences and courses to stay up to date in this expansive and broadening field.
Currently she owns, operates and practices out of the Innate Health Centre in the Bloor West area of Toronto. Her goal is to empower people to change their lives through nutrition, lifestyle, and education. She compiled the first ever Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine Cookbook, Simply Healthy and is presently independently developing another.
Kim Callaghan – Naturopathic Doctor
“I practice natural family medicine working with highly sensitive and unique individuals including children, women, teens and young adults. In particular, I work with people dealing with adhd, allergies, the autism spectrum, hormonal imbalances, and digestive concerns.”
Kim practices natural family medicine with a focus on women’s health and pediatrics. She has been practicing for over 10 years and has a special interest in treating behaviour concerns including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, ODD, and fetal alcohol syndrome.
Kim wanted to be a doctor since she was a kid herself. 20 years ago, she visited a naturopathic doctor for various health concerns. She was impressed with the holistic approach and learned that the body could heal itself. Not only did her chief concern improve drastically, so did other things she thought were just her bad luck. Since then, Kim knew that naturopathy was exactly what she wanted to do with her career.
She completed her undergraduate degree from York University and her naturopathic medical studies from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member of the Ontario and Canadian Associations of Naturopathic Medicine as well as the Association of Perinatal Naturopathic Doctors.
Kim has spoken and written extensively about natural medicine and is always delighted to speak to groups large and small.
Kim is a proud mom of 2 girls – aged 5 years and 2 years.
